Construction & 3D Scanning

Modellteknik’s construction department and project managers have a proven track record in product development and construction as well as construction of products and parts using 3D tools and CAD/CAM.

In our ambition to always cater for our customer’s needs, our construction department has a vital and central role. We have carried out several interesting custom projects.

With the aid of our portable laser scanner, we are also able to offer reversed engineering to output both 3D models and 2D drawings from physical parts.

In addition to adapting and developing our customers’ basic concepts and products, we undertake construction-only projects with no strings attached for involvement in subsequent manufacturing.

Our construction department works mainly in applications such as Solidworks, Geomagic and PowerShape, but can handle most file formats.
