Subcontracting

Modellteknik is not a contract or subcontract manufacturer in the conventional sense. The contracts we fill are typically for small and medium batches or one-off manufacturing of advanced or complex parts in a wide range of materials.

Machining takes place in our state-of-the-art machinery plant which includes an array of 5-axis milling and lathing machines. The automated manufacturing takes place in two robotic cells, where robots operate a number of our 5-axis machines.

This allows us to offer short lead times and unmanned manufacturing of complex parts 24/7 in batches on a scale of up to approx 1,000 parts per annum.

Our methods and machinery are adapted to efficiently process varying batch volumes. This flexible pallet and reference system allows us to rapidly switch between different machines with very high precision.

CAM prepping is performed by our skilled operators directly at the machines.

For you, as a customer, this means short lead times and fast delivery. We have long-standing experience in subcontracted manufacturing of prototypes, forming tools, fixtures and machined components. We also undertake complementary services such as curing, finishing and spray-painting. Assembly of incorporated components is also a key offering in our all-round service to you as our customer. We are with you all the way from idea to finished product.
